Introduction

 Well howdy!

Welcome to my little corner of the internet. My name is Johnna. I'm the content creator behind @anaggiewithaplan.

As you can probably gather, I'm a loud and proud Fightin' Texas Aggie. (Texas A&M class of 2018)

I have a passion for planners, organization and helping people get the tools they need to be successful in this ever changing world.

As of August 2022, I currently am using a few different systems. I'm using an Erin Condren vertical, compact vertical and a daily planner. I'm also a huge fan of my MakseLife digital system.

This blog is going to be a place for me to talk about what's working/not working in my planner life, tips/tricks I stumble upon as well as my personal favorite things. I also talk a lot about goal setting and handling grief.

I'm hoping to post here around once a week, so feel free to send me suggestions or ideas that you want to see me cover.

So stick with me. This is going to be a fun journey.

Structure your month with me

I know August basically just started, but I'm already looking ahead to big picture things for September! Around halfway through the month, I start taking a look and preplanning the month ahead. Since I now have this blog (and my YouTube), I figured I'd take y'all along for the journey and through my process.  So the first thing I start with is goal setting. Over the past year, I've been really honing in on my goals. I've been setting goals that feel appropriate to my season. I use the MakseLife system for this purpose. My digital goals planner has been an absolute game changer within my planner lineup. As I sit down to plan, the initial step is reviewing my annual goals. I look into whether they still feel realistic, whether they feel reasonable, or if they need some adjusting (or even just cutting certain things). One of my biggest goals for this year was to run a half marathon in December. Honestly, I don't think it's going to happen at this point. It brea...

2023 Calendar Launch

Blog: 2023 Calendar Launch - Live 9/27/22 Hey hey hey. It’s been a while. Welcome to my blog. I was gifted a box of the newest Erin Conden products from the Softbound 2023 launch. Today, I’m going to talk about those items and give my honest opinion about the products. If you’re curious about the softbounds, stay tuned!  The first product is the In Bloom Softbound Hourly planner. The softbound hourly is a beautiful, professional planner. This planner is great for those who need a lot of structure in their planner. The color scheme is incredibly calming and pastel oriented. This color scheme is definitely not the regular EC color scheme, so be aware when you’re shopping for stickers or accessories. Handdrawn florals are featured on most of the pages of this planner. There are different flowers featured in each month of the planner. The In Bloom Softbound is a bit bigger than the typical lifeplanner, however it doesn’t take up a massive amount of space on a desk. It is also a lit...
